Mozambique's Black Sails

Dimensions 23 × 16 in

About This Work

This is one of my narrations on the Mozambican life. The black sails I discovered are made of plastic. The people up here in Inhassoro Village in Inhambane are really poor and have to make use of the materials they can find or use. I have used serviette tissues to create texture and to be reminded of the hungry people of this land.
